Living Out Promises That Will Lead Us to Heaven

In his homily from October 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral in Bridgeport, CT, Bishop Caggiano invited the children in attendance forward to speak with them about promises.

We often make promises as human beings. Certain promises are difficult to keep, certain promises are small, and certain promises are lifelong.

Jesus also makes a promise to never stop loving each of us. He asks us to make a promise also: to love one another as he loves us.

We are called by Jesus to make and to live out promises that will lead us to Heaven.
