Recently I had an opportunity to go see Daft Punk's Pop Up Shop! I lived nearby and of course went when I had a free day. I don't know if some of you saw me there. I was probably the youngest one there. I'm female and pretty short. Anyways, This Video is about my experience and my perspective. Hope You Enjoy!

Details:
LA Traffic is the worst thing when I was heading there. But my phone (Siri, Maps App) helped us dodge traffic and save time. Once we arrived, of course there was a huge line. Parking was a pain in the ass, but we got lucky. We paid for our parking and began waiting in line, which was about an hour. They only let in a certain amount of people at a time so it won't be crowded inside because it was a small delicate place. Once we got inside, I saw heaven. Everything Daft Punk and their official things. Just imagine being surrounded by people from Around The World having the same music taste as you, weird but cool right? Later after taking pictures and videos of the whole shop, I began looking around and trying to find something I like. But I liked everything from there so it was difficult. Before I even planned to go to the shop, I looked at Instagram from the pop up shop. I saw many or few people with merchandise. That got me thinking because I would expect for everything to sell out. I looked at the comments and immediately saw the price. I was shocked but i thought it was a joke. Back to the shop, I looked at the price and it broke my heart. $390 for a shirt?! Everything was over $200, and I only brought $50 thinking that was enough. Nope. At the same time, all the items were limited edition and custom designed by talented people, but at least less than $100? I kept looking around and saw a person who worked there dump a stack of posters on the table of pictures (00:42) and quickly left. I went to look and saw people quickly grab them, so I did the same. I was confused because they didn't have a price sticker on them. My mind thought that it was free, but I had to ask. I asked and no, they weren't free. Each small poster was $20 each. (00:11) I decided that the poster would be the only thing I could buy because I didn't want to leave empty handed from a store that would probably never comeback. I then made line to pay, which was another hour (there were only two cashiers by the way, which would explain how slow it was). I paid and turns out the poster I bought was $32, but I still bought it. Overall, It was fun and memorable. So thank you Daft Punk and the people who helped with the store. Keep Up the good work!
