LokSabha Speaker Election: NDA’s Om Birla vs INDIA’s K Suresh for Speaker | Dr. Manish Kumar

After no consensus was reached between the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) and the opposition India Bloc for the post of Lok Sabha Speaker, both the alliances have fielded different candidates.Now with the commencement of Lok Sabha proceedings on June 26, the Protem Speaker will conduct voting to elect the next Speaker. Om Birla, three-time MP from Kota, Rajasthan, and Kodikunnil Suresh, 8-time MP from Mavelikara, Kerala, have filed their nominations for the post of Lok Sabha Speaker as NDA and India Bloc candidates respectively.
