The steps to manually add Python to the PATH environment variable on Windows:

Find the directory where Python is installed. This is typically C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\PythonXX where XX is the Python version.
Copy this path.
Press Windows key and type "env" to open Environment Variables.
Under System Variables, scroll down and find the Path variable. Click Edit.
In the Edit Environment Variable window, click New and paste the Python directory path copied earlier.
Click OK to close all windows.
Open a new command prompt and type python --version to verify the PATH update worked correctly.
You may need to restart any open command prompts or IDEs like VSCode for the PATH change to take effect there.
A couple notes:

Make sure the path is added and not replacing the Path value. Append with a semicolon-separated.
Avoid spaces in the Python path to prevent issues.
You can add multiple directories by separating them with a semicolon.
