Archdiocese of Honiara 4000 women celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of the Assumption & closing Mass

Holy Mass on the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Assumption and Closing Mass for the Archdiocese of Honiara Women Gathering

On the 15th of August 2024, the Archdiocese of Honiara celebrated a truly blessed occasion at the St. Mother Teresa Family and Youth Retreat Center in Aruligo. The Holy Mass, marking the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Assumption, was also the closing Mass for the Women Gathering event. His Grace, Archbishop Christopher Cardone OP, led the Eucharistic celebration, accompanied by 12 priests from the Archdiocese and Deacon Badley.

This sacred day was a significant moment of grace, as we honored the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven and reflected on her role as a model of faith for all.
