He completed his MA final at Hindu College. While he was pursuing his MA final year, he cleared the UGC NET JRF examination and received a scholarship of Rs 2,500 per month. Vikas also holds MA (Sociology), M. Phil, LLB, and Ph.D. degrees. Vikas had an interest in language translation, so he also received a postgraduate degree in English to Hindi translation from Delhi UniversityDr. Vikas believes in agnosticism. In an interview, he revealed that while he was studying at Delhi University, he was highly influenced by Osho after reading his books. He also revealed that he was highly influenced by Karl Marx and Max Weber and lived like an atheist for a few years.

Due to financial difficulties, he begun his career as a teacher, at that time he was Twenty Four years old, although at that time he was studying PhD from Delhi University. Many of his friends were preparing for the civil service and at the instruction of the friend, he also begun preparing for the civil service. In 1996, he emerged for the Civil Services examination for the 1st time and was successful in his 1st attempt Although he could not get the post of IAS, his 1st posting was in the Ministry of Home Affairs but he did not want to join this job. On the coercion of his parents, he joined this job, but he was still preparing for the civil service for the IAS post.Dr. Vikas Divyakirti was birthed and elevated in Haryana, India, he was born in 1976. As of 2022, Vikas’s age is 46 years old. His parents were professors in Hindi literature at Delhi University. Like his parents, he was also very excellent at Hindi Subject. Dr. Vikas was very learned from his schooling life. Vikas did his studies at Sarswarti Sishu Mandir. He took acknowledgement to Delhi University to finish his Higher education. From there, he successfully gained his Bachelor’s degree in a history subject and then he changed his subject and finish his master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Hindi subject.

Till then they have done practically everything but he never stopped because he understood that he was not an simple man. He farther went for a master’s degree in mass communication and sociology and then he obtained an LLB degree. Dr. Divyakirti did not stop even then, he tried to choose a degree in his absorbed field, Hindi, and English translation and then he obtain admission to Bhartiya Vidya mandir and Delhi University and choose the same PG degree from there. He flourished in becoming a good member.
