Lake Exclusive Brasenose One Social: 55+ Carp Caught P1

We recently held a charity event in memory of a beloved member of the ParkerBaits community who tragically passed away due to a heart attack while fishing. The family selected two charities that held a special place in their hearts - Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation.

The event took place at the Linear Fisheries Complex on Brasenose One from 29th March to 1st April. Over the weekend, the family joined us to fish in three exclusive swims - pegs 30, 31, and 32.

A raffle was also conducted with some exciting prizes, and we managed to raise a significant amount of money. Additionally, Robert Bolger and Aaron Blandford, also known as South Coast Angler on YouTube, completed a sponsored run around B1. They ran five laps of the 30-acre lake, all while dressed up in funny costumes, and your generous donations supported their cause. We are grateful for everyone’s participation and contributions. It was a memorable event that truly honoured our lost friend and supported causes close to their heart.

The Charity:

Nathan passed suddenly on the 9th July 2023 at the young age of 47. He died to due a blood clot that blocked his arteries. It was unexpected and we are all still coming to terms from such a huge loss.

Nathan was a hard worker, he loved his friends and family. he enjoyed doing DIY and watching football even if he would sit on the fence and not pick a team.

He would be the first on the dance floor when a bit of dance music come on. He would be the first up in the morning, making tea for everyone and the first one to be bed that was unless he was fishing…..

Nathan loved fishing, all kinds, trout and sea more favourably. He would watch programmes, read magazines and watch countless hours of you tube on it. His favourite phrase was its fishing not catching.

A go fund me page has been set up for two charities. British heart foundation due the nature of his passing and cancer research in honour of his sister Cassandra. All donations are welcome, we are extremely grateful for all the support.
