Roque Nublo in Gran Canaria is a place you can't miss to visit!
It is a natural phenomenon on the Canary Island of Gran Canaria. This cloud rock is a literal and figurative highlight of the volcanic island.
The views you get from there are extraordinary beautiful!
Roque Nublo means Cloud of Rock. The 1813m high mountain occasionally lives up to its name. It is not the highest mountain in Gran Canaria, but perhaps the most beautiful. The characteristic shape of the large rock pillar can be seen from afar. The 67 m high rock is a remnant of a volcanic pipe from a volcano that was active here 4.5 million years ago.


The walk to Roque Nublo, follows a beautiful path over vegetated slopes with views of mountains. From the parking lot, the hike continues on a beautiful mountain path that runs between beautiful Canary pines and finally ends at the top via a path over the bare rocks.
