Richard Petty is the winningest driver in NASCAR history with more than 200 victorious finishes throughout his remarkable racing career, and even in retirement, Petty hasn’t slowed down.

Now owner of Petty’s Garage high-performance and street rod shop in Level Cross, North Carolina, as well as the curator of the Petty Museum in nearby Randleman, Petty is as busy as ever, and much of his work today is focused on philanthropy with countless charitable builds coming out of his shop each year.

In addition to shop cars and museum cars, Petty maintains a private collection as well, and it certainly isn’t limited to race cars.

This January in Kissimmee, Florida, Richard Petty and Petty’s Garage will offer a selection of seven cars and three motorcycles, all of which are stunning vehicles hand-selected by Petty himself.

The majority of the assemblage is from Petty’s private collection, and the outliers are from the Petty Museum.

Together, the vehicles of The Petty’s Garage Collection make for a unique cross-section of classics, race cars, motorcycles and modern muscle that is sure to draw a lot of attention at the World’s Largest Collector Car Auction, and it’s more than likely that a few lucky buyers will leave with a little piece of the Petty legacy in tow.
