The UK government plans to go electric by 2030 then, by 2035, a ban on the production and selling of hybrid cars will also come into effect. From 2035, you'll only be able to buy zero-emission cars whether that's electric or hydrogen-powered. However what's the reality of this really happening? I have owned an all Electric Car a Porsche Taycan for just over a year and in my opinion and from my experience Electric Cars are not fit for purpose. The Infrastructure is not there in the UK and it's not achievable as half the chargers are either broken or people are on them charging up. I personally think in my opinion (and I may be wrong) it's all about control and to take away our freedom and to lock us all into 15 minute cities. To show you exactly what it is like and the reality of owning an EV, I drove from London to Edinburgh in my Electric Car.
