What is Foshan city famous for?

Are Guangzhou and Foshan the same?

Foshan is located on the west bank of the Pearl River and, together with Guangzhou, forms the Guangzhou Foshan metropolitan circle. The city is divided into five administrative districts – Chancheng, Nanhai, Shunde, Gaoming and Sanshui – and extends across an area of 3,798 sq km.
Foshan is an inland prefecture-city, the second-highest administrative division in China. Located in Guangdong province, it is situated to the west of Guangzhou, north of Jiangmen and east of Zhaoqing.
