Mt.Yunam Peak is situated at an altitude of 6,100 meters above sea level. It is one of the trekking peaks in Himachal. Yunam Peak is situated near the famous Baralacha La Pass in the Lahaul district of Himachal Pradesh. It is a difficult trek that is recommended to experienced trekkers only. 🏔️

The location of Yunam is fascinating, it is a few kilometres off on Manali Leh highway just ahead of Barlacha La. It lies in the Zanskar range within the Trans Himalayas and to the north of the Great Himalaya and south of the Ladakh range. This means, from the summit you can see a vast stretch of Lahaul and Spiti area including Chandra-Bhaga (CB peaks) and Mulkila range of peaks facing south – south west and Zaskar range peaks to your east, north east. 🏞️
