Hi guys!
Today i am unboxing the My Envy Box Sept 'travel' edition. I think they have tried to provide you with products you may want to travel with. Even the box is designed as a cute little vintage suitcase!
My Envy box is a luxury monthly beauty box subscription which typically costs Rs 850 per month. You can take some other subscriptions plans to make it slightly more economical.

PRODUCTS RECEIVED :
1. TRUUTH BEAUTY FORMULA supplement with 30 tablets / FULL SIZE // INR 400 : Do you guys take any food supplements? I think sometimes we do need dietary supplements as we lack some essential vitamins & minerals in our normal diet, especially us vegetarians. This particular one contains high amounts of biotin, collagen, zinc & silicon aimed at promoting skin,hair & nails health. However, I advise you to use your discretion or even consult your family doctor before taking any supplement. You may or may not need it, it may or may not cause you an allergic reaction ...
2. KRONOKARE CITY DETOX FACE WASH // 30 ML FOR INR 125 : i generally like Kronokare oils and other products, they are natural and effective. Plus they smell amazing! This face wash is also a good cleanser with an amazing fragrance of mint + grapefruit + lavender !
3. MA EARTH BOTANICALS ROSE FACIAL SCRUB // 40GM FOR INR 275 : This is a coarsely ground powder containing almonds,oats,rose petals,essential oils & lactic acid. Its supposed to be mixed with rose water or milk and made into a paste. This paste can be used in circular motions on the face & neck to remove dead skin cells. I like this product as its not pricking-ly coarse and exfoliates well. I used it with milk so my skin felt smooth & supple afterwards. It also has a soothing fragrance of rose!
4. DERMALOGICA OIL FREE MATTE SPF 30 //SACHET (MAY BE 2ML) : The brand dermalogica is globally renowned, it's products are generally good. So yes, this is a good sunscreen + moisturizer, but ONE SACHET? Especially since this is THE ONLY truly 'luxurious' brand in the box?! Not done.
5. C.A.L DETAIL ME MASCARA// FULL SIZE// INR 450 : Okay, so i have never heard of this brand, so i cannot say anything about it. But looking at the price, I can say its a drugstore item. Drugstore mascaras are generally awesome, my all time favorite mascara are the VML L'oreal ones. This one is on the similar lines, it has a silicon bristled brush on the wand. It does not really give any separation to the lashes (hence, not much volume) but it does 'define' them. So your lashes would feel neat, slightly lifted, slightly thicker. Basically, if you are a beginner, this would be a good mascara for you. But for people like me who have used a million and one mascaras in their lifetime, this is pretty dud.
6. C.A.L MUAH COLLECTION LIP GLOSS // FULL SIZE// INR 450 : This is a full size 10 ml lip gloss from the same brand as above. If you like lip glosses, then you would really like this. This is a creamy lip gloss with no shimmer, it goes on translucent on the lips, its not tacky at all and gives the lips fuller look. The shade is a baby pink with white base, think Karishma Kapoor in the early 90s with baby doll pink lips & bushy eyebrows, young & untamed!

Over all, this is not one of their best boxes,they have done much better before. But it's not a complete disappointment as well. I really like the face scrub and the face wash, i may have the supplements if my doctor approves, and yes i will use the dermalogica sunscreen ( its a one-time use sachet anyways).. I don't think I will find much use of the CAL products as i have many other choices in my vanity, but a makeup beginner would appreciate these as well.
Overall value of the box is INR 1800 approx, so complains there.
But does it contain true LUXURY BRANDS : NO.
