TĘGIE CHŁOPY — spontaneous live performance at WOMEX (World Music Expo) 2022 in Lisbon. The band was officialy selected for a showcase at WOMEX 2022.

TĘGIE CHŁOPY is a string’n’brass band performing traditional dance music from Kielce region (Central Poland). Band’s members are the disciples of the village musicians who performed at countless wedding and village parties back in the good old days.
A variety of instruments (accordion, fiddle, trumpet, clarinet, tuba, tenor horn, drum), rich repertoire of lively traditional tunes (including chłop, a local version of mazurek) and musical stamina are the band’s hallmarks.
