CREATURE COMMANDOS Episode 5 Breakdown | Every Easter Egg, Hidden Details & Things You Missed. In this video, we discuss Creature Commandos Episode 5. The new show is based on the Creature Commandos comic from DC, brought to us by James Gunn featuring a whole host of star names voicing the characters, such as Frank Grillo, Maria Bakalova, David Harbour and Alan Tudyk. Following the events of the first season of Peacemaker (2022), Amanda Waller is no longer able to put human lives in jeopardy for her clandestine operations as she did with the Suicide Squad and Team Peacemaker. Instead, she assembles a black ops team of monsters called the Creature Commandos led by General Rick Flag Sr. Lots to get through so let's get into it Monsters!

Episode 5 of Creature Commandos is titled “The Iron Pot” and it starts with Rick and Frankenstein spying on Professor Aisla MacPherson at Terrebonne University…not knowing yet that it was actually the Batman villain Clayface all along…a Clayface doing an absolutely horrible impression of the stern-faced and serious Aisla MacPherson that we just met last episode when Waller called her in to analyze Circe’s vision of a coming apocalypse. Not only is Clayface playing her in a much more laid back manner…but he also doesn’t even know how to say Themyscira right…calling it THEEMascira instead…something that a Themyscira expert would have known. I found that kind of interesting to me considering that the Clayface that was introduced in 1940’s Detective Comics #40 was very much a professional actor who took his roles seriously…so it’s kind of ironic to see this DCU Clayface to be a bit of a dumbass while he’s transformed. But I’m also totally down for a new take on the character.
