I'm a beginner runner and in the is video I show the fitness journey that got me to a place I was ready to run my first 5k race. I show the physical therapy, weight training and running I did to build my stamina, speed, and form as part of my running journey.My fitness journey shows that you can achieve hard things by staying committed, working hard and allowing yourself to believe you can do them. I show my first 5k run, a huge milestone in my running journey, Literally going from couch to 5k. Staying motivated was a huge part of the challenge of doing my first 5k race, I am grateful I had the professionals from RunLab to help my slowly but surely achieve my goal of running a 5k as a beginner runner.

I how this can be fitness motivation and a health journey inspiration at its best, my own movement journey is about showing how a plus size body can adapt to be able to live an active lifestyle. The internet likes to make us believe that everything changes magically happen over night, but transforming your life takes time and consistency. I want to show people that achieving your fitness goals is possible, f you set realistic goals and remember to celebrate the little wins and the non-scale victories as you go.

I finished my first 5k with an average pace of 18:52., and total race time of 58: 29.88.
