This time I am joined by Phil and Vinny, and we are taking a walk down the Hayfield Branch, in North West Derbyshire.

The line was opened by the Manchester, Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway, and The Midland Railway, in 1868, and sadly closed in 1970.

There are plenty of remains to be found of what would once have been a wonderful little branch line, in the stunning Peak District.
