In many respects the inclusion of Eric Clapton as part of Water's first solo tour band, and against his own manager's advice, heralded the guitarist's return to form. In the late 70's and early 80's Clapton's playing was mainly lacklustre and lacking any real fire. From the very first Pros & Cons shows in Sweden, Clapton's playing was inspired, and still stands as some of his best ever live work.
