The last open day held at old oak common august 2000, a fantastic open day they had really pulled out all the stops with an amazing line up of exhibits. Those that stayed until the end were treated to a mass start up of almost every loco on site inside and out! It was a phenominal sight and an amazing sound which could never be repeated these days! I have looked on the internet before and never seen that last hour so if you didn't see it enjoy.
