A favourite of mine which I think I've mentioned before, and it's the perfect way to celebrate the eventual arrival of Friday.

Wells' Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale does exactly what it says on the, erm, bottle. While toffee pudding and beer together might sound gross or strange initally, you have to try it. I don't have words to describe this beer, which is saying something, but I'll give it a shot.

It's dark on the pour, and the smell is rich with toffee and malt. Delve further and you discover a little roast, chocolate, and even some spice and floral aromas are present. The flavour is that of obvious toffee and classic ale, with a certain chocolate sweetness and notes of roast and bitter.

There's a lack of hops, which I love personally, but if you're hopping mad then this might not be the beer for you. Still, I urge everyone to give it a try and let the beer speak for itself on this one.
