Severn Valley Railway "On The Buses" 2017

The Severn Valley Railway's annual bus event returned once again to Bewdley Railway Station, with the yard occupied by classic buses, some offering rides around Bewdley Town and the surrounding area.

The 2017 event had a London Transport theme, with several Routemasters attending, but the star of the show was the London Transport Museum's 1914 Leyland Charabanc in LNWR livery. Other visitors to the event included a West Bromwich Daimler CVG6, 2 Birmingham Corporation buses including the 1937 Daimler COG5, a 1962 Midland Red S15, a 1955 Bristol, a 1957 Leyland Tiger Cub in the livery of local operator Whittles Coaches, and a couple of Exeter Corporation buses (Guy Arab IV and Daimler CVD6).
