Ricoh Automatic R31 R61 Strip Service & Assembly

Описание к видео Ricoh Automatic R31 R61 Strip Service & Assembly

This is one of a series of the lesser known watch movements seen stripped and serviced on yourtube, looking around there are many for high end and numerous Seiko services but few or none of a handful of watches that are well deserving of an internal look.
I hope to feature HMT hand winding and automatic, (which are license built Miyota clones), Allwyn, which are annother Indian but license built Seiko clones, Orient, and Citizen soon.
The complete, strip, service and reassembly of the Ricoh automatic watch movement. I've seen and heard this referred to frequently as both the R31 and R61 yet have never seen any evidence of a specific calibre number and to my knowledge, this is the only Automatic movement that Ricoh used.
However, they're a nice movement, the only real difficulty is the minimal clearance for the balance wheel meaning pivots have to be just right and the automatic bridge which can test your patience during reassembly to prevent the hand winding from locking up once fitted.
A search around can yield some wild and wacky dial and case types.
