Tim Jackson Explains The Name Behind Quads

Описание к видео Tim Jackson Explains The Name Behind Quads

Ok, I've been getting really annoyed with the amounting of trivial arguing about what you should call a tenor drum with 4, 5, or 6 drums. I believe that Tim Jackson settled it for me in this clip from "Blue Smoke". He calls them Quads. If Tim Jackson can call any tenor drum quads, I think it is ok for people to call them whatever they want. Quads, quints, squints, sextets, hexes, tenors, whatever. It is all the same. So everyone stop being so anal about it. Maybe you should spend some time practicing instead of arguing about it on Youtube!

By the way, I give full rights to the Blue Devils for the clip from this DVD. I only use it because I believe it settles a stupid argument that shouldn't be occurring in the first place.

For anyone that wants to buy it, the name of the dvd is called "Blue Smoke", and it its a 45 minute long dvd of the Blue Devils 2006 drumline with the full battery performance, interviews, warm-ups, Grevious' Groove, and practice footage. I highly recommend it.
