Welcome to a a gem hidden between tall buildings and crowded roads of Anarkali Bazar; Bansidhar Temple!

Sadly other than that, most of the history of this temple has withered away in time. All but one moortis sculpted on the outer walls of the temple have also been desecrated, thanks to the 1992 mobs and its aftermath.

This temple is huge!! It almost stretches across an entire block on the street. However, today a very small portion of this temple is accessible. Some 30 housing units and innumerable shops have popped up in different parts of this temple now.
