Retail Store Manager Careers

The manager of the Pukekohe store is Haua Cooper who joined The Warehouse as a part-time after school job. These days, he's responsible for the overall performance of the Pukekohe store. Part of that, he tells Amy, is being a coach or mentor to the leadership and store teams.

Each morning he walks the store with the team leaders looking for sales initiatives and anything that's not quite right. He explains customer service is a critical area of the business which on average processes 35,000 transactions each week. Growing sales is also part of Haua's role and he introduces Amy to the jewellery counter where Kylie shows her how active promotion over the microphone is used.

Next Amy is heading to the monthly store managers meeting where the likes of business strategy and upcoming promotions are discussed.
