In this video we use JavaScript to populate an initially empty SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) element with a trefoil (three-leaf clover) design. We use a "generator function" to step through a straight-edge/compass construction of the design which ultimately consists of three arcs. We also look at two notions of "concentric" trefoil designs -- one in which we think only of the radial distance from the overall center of the trefoil design and a second in which we think of distances from the centers of the three constituent lobes.
