Airbrush Tutorial 101: Airbrush Track and Right-of-Way Weathering

In this installment I describe some theory and practical Airbrush application for HO Scale Track and Ballast weathering. Music track: Everything You Wanted by Dan Lebowitz.

The Tamiya Paints I use:
1. XF-52 Flat Earth
2. XF-57 Buff
3. XF-60 Dark Yellow
4. XF-78 Wooden Deck Tan
5. XF-49 Khaki
6.XF-79 Linoleum Deck Brown (with some red?).
7. XF-5 Flat Green
8. XF-3 Flat Yellow
All the above Acrylic paints thinned with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol.
*** Custom Mauve: Start with 80% XF-2 Flat White, 15% XF-52 Flat Earth, 5% X-16 Purple (add more white or less purple if it`s too pink. Don`t be afraid to experiment a little and play around. You can also try toning down "pink" with lots of white as well coupled with some earth.
