Dr John Adenitire is a Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, School of Law and a Fellow of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences. Before joining Queen Mary, he was a Lecturer in Law at the University of Birmingham, obtained his PhD in Law from the University of Cambridge, and he has worked at the UCL Constitution Unit, the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law, and the UK Commission on a Bill of Rights. In addition to lecturing animal rights law, Dr Adenitire is a prolific writer is currently co-authoring a book on non-human animals in constitutional law and theory.
