For almost 50 years now, the Alay Kapwa program continues to be a fruitful initiative of the Catholic Church that supports poverty alleviation, food security, education, jobs/livelihood, nutrition and mental health, conscience collective formation, and relief operations during calamities.

Challenges and hardships bring the best in us—as we have seen throughout the pandemic, where many people reached out to our marginalized brothers and sisters who were left even more vulnerable by the global crisis. The youth is also becoming more proactive in serving and helping out in the Church and in their own circles of influence.

In today’s episode of Kapamilya Journeys of Hope, Father Tito Caluag talks to former PBB housemates Chico Alicaya and Kobie Brown, who are both stepping up their desire to serve as Alay Kapwa Food Security Program and Scholarship Program advocates.
