This is the hardest burn I've ever had to do, so difficult that I've only cared to do it once (at least at the ilvl I had in the video).

I was in the process of solo clearing trash in ICC to get to Valithria Dreamwalker when I discovered that the mini-boss at the end of the gauntlet, Sister Svalna, is really hard to kill for an ilvl 378 marks hunter.

She has 1.56 million health, and 40 seconds after you pull her, she does a boss ability which causes you to be pinned down to the ground and have a spear sticking out of you. It deals a percentage-based DOT which is designed to kill you if it completes.

All of my efforts to either prevent the ability from occuring or to do something about it afterward resulted in either my death, or the boss despawning. And I tried quite a few hunter tricks.

I ended up using a Ravager pet as a tank (it has a debuff on the target), and allowed the Ravager to get low in health as part of the strat (it did more damage when allowed to go low) and used 2 DPS pets to buff myself pre-pull.
(skipped CotW by accident this pull, it should have been pre-casted using the cat).

The burn was specific to this fight and difficult to do, and doesn't resemble a raid burn. A raid-style opening rotation (with hardcasted Aimed Shot from the outset) was unusable because it made for a poor utilization of the initial Misdirection. Pre-potting was incorrect for this fight, and it was bad to cast Rapid Fire too soon. I couldn't even Hunter's Mark at the outset because in that single global the boss could come charging to me (despite the explosion trap I had set). It was also necessary to ensure that all trinkets were off of their internal cooldowns and ready-to-proc. That's why I have my back to the trash which dies before the boss goes active and I'm am using my pet's Kill Command for some extra trash DPS (Kill Command is normally only used by Beastmaster hunters).

While working on it, I had some attempts that seemed to go strong, and those gave me practice in exactly the sort of pull I wanted. Then, that final attempt came and the boss died. She died very much 11th hour, during the split second when she was making her invincible spear cast.
