We Ran an Ultra Marathon with Russ Cook in Tunisia | The Hardest Geezer

Описание к видео We Ran an Ultra Marathon with Russ Cook in Tunisia | The Hardest Geezer

This was the day Russ Cook (the @hardestgeezer) reached the Northernmost tip of Africa. He became the first person ever to have run the Entire Length of Africa.

His journey took him through 17 countries, from Cape Agulhas, in South Africa - the southernmost point of the continent - to Cape Angela, in Tunisia. In 352 days, Russ Cook covered more than 16400 km.

He and his team went through numerous close calls along the way - disease, robbery at gun point and kidnapping - but they also experienced the kindness and generosity of many people on the African continent.

We were lucky enough to be able to join him on the final leg of this amazing journey, for the last 46 km, and, together with hundreds of other like-minded people, we enjoyed the generosity of the Tunisian people and smashed some ones and twos, in the last day of #projectAfrica.

Btw, the weather was hot! (30°C or 86°F), a very welcomed change, compared to the s*** weather we have in Northern Germany.
