Please join us for a webinar focused on racial equity in child welfare with Jessica A. Pryce Ph.D., Assistant Professor at Florida State University.
Dr. Pryce will bring focus to the history, data, historical and present practices of a well-intentioned system that traumatizes the children, families, and communities it is meant to serve.
Participants will be invited to meaningfully engage by envisioning their role in child welfare, and identify effective change strategies for their organizations. Dr. Pryce will provide training about the intergenerational traumas of minority families, the four dimensions of racism and ways each manifest within child welfare, courageous leadership, disparity and disproportionality, the need for reform, and invite participation in upcoming learning exchanges focused on racial equity.
