HEATHROW AIRPORT 1977. COMPLETE WEEKLY TIMETABLE. Retro aircraft: VC10s; Trident; Concorde; Argosy!

I have fond memories of going "planespotting" at Heathrow in the early to mid 1970s. Armed with my "Civil Aircraft recognition" book from 1971 (now quite threadbare!) the other "must have" to complete the experience was the handy timetable that was produced and updated twice a year by the airport authority, BAA.
Once you got the hang of reading the timetable, they were a fantastic help as it lists, by time of day, all arrivals and departures that are scheduled to take place, right across the day from first arrival up to last flight of the day. They also have a column showing which days of the week you would expect to see the particular aircraft.
It's really fascinating looking back at the aircraft in operation at the time. You'll notice that it's not long after BA was formed (2 or so years previously) and the company is still divided into "Regional"; "European" and "Overseas" division. European operated services are still operating with a "BE" flight number rather than "BA" as we would expect. Notice the aircraft:
VC10s
Tristars
Tridents
BAC 1-11s
Viscounts
Heralds (Brymon)
707s
747s
727s
And - Concorde- which started it's inaugural service to Bahrain just one year earlier - but no New York services yet as approvals had not been obtained from the US Courts until Autumn of 1977.

So here is my copy of the 1977 timetable, which I've reproduced with some extra added photographs of a suitable "grainy" texture to complete this retrospective!
There are around 34 pages, so in order to do the timetable justice and give you a chance to look at each page, you'll find the page "pauses" for around 20 seconds before moving on. On certain pages I highlight particular aircraft that may be of interest, followed by a photograph and details of the aircraft in question.
I hope this short film is of interest - and to those who remember those days, it brings back nostalgic but happy memories!
