Exploring Japan's Traditional New Years Festival | Tori no Ichi 🐓酉の市

Описание к видео Exploring Japan's Traditional New Years Festival | Tori no Ichi 🐓酉の市

Today I'm taking you along with me to a traditional Japanese market festival, Tori no Ichi. It's held on certain days in November, and business owners go to buy kumade "rakes" to bring economic prosperity in the New Year! I went with some Japanese friends who explained a lot about it to me, especially because one buys them here every year 🦔 Thank you, friends, and welcome to your Youtube debut! 🙇‍♀️😈

I definitely want to go back again when the stalls for food and drinks are open! There weren't any at this shrine this year :( But I can see why...this was probably the most crowded place I've been in two years 😅 It was a great change of atmosphere for me though!!

❤️ Please like the video, comment, and subscribe for more content about my life here in Japan in the future!! It helps me out tremendously 🥺💕
