Описание к видео Tamil Nadu series Part 2 Day 1 in Chennai

Hey guys, Shree Hari vishnu Pranam🙏🏽

I hope you all are doing great. So today was my first day in chennai and i visited 3 temples today.

1. The Parthasarathy Temple is a 6th-century Hindu Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Vishnu in Chennai, India. Located in the neighbourhood of Thiruvallikeni, the temple is glorified in the Naalayira Divya Prabandham, the early medieval Tamil literature canon of the Alvar saints from the 6th to 9th centuries CE and is classified as among the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu.[2] The name 'Parthasarathy' means the 'charioteer of Arjuna', referring to Krishna's role as a charioteer to Arjuna in the epic Mahabharata.

2. Kapaleeshwarar Temple - One of the sacred shrines in Tamil Nadu is Arulmigu Kapaleeshwarar Temple in Mylapore, in Chennai City. Kapaleeswarar temple is one of the prominent Shiva temples in India situated in Mylapore, Chennai. Here Lord Shiva is worshipped as Kapaleeswar [self-manifested] and Goddess Shakthi [Uma] as Karpagambal. Now moving on the architecture of the temple, it is another great piece of Dravidian art, but it is not the original structure of the temple which is long gone or washed ashore. Even the great historians are not able to date the construction of the original temple building. 3. Velleeswarar Temple - is a Hindu temple in Mylapore, Chennai, Tamil nadu, India. The presiding deity is Shiva in the form of Velleeswarar. This mid-sized temple, spread over 2 acres is one amongst the Seven Shiva Temples of Mylapore that have been in existence since yore. It is situated at South Mada Street, closer to Sri Kapaleeswarar Temple.
