This is a follow on video to my first one regarding Dell R710 server hardware. This Riser card modification will allow you to put an x16 graphics card in the slot. You'll need a dremel and an exacto knife or sharp knife. I used around 25% power on the Dremel so as not to melt the plastic. You will still have to deal with the R710 bootup power constraints. And any card that requires external power will be problematic because you'll need to find a way to feed it that power. This video is for educational purposes and I am NOT responsible for any damage if you choose to do something similar.
