The song is a sequel to LL Cool J's earlier track "Murdergram" and features intense, fast-paced verses that highlight their storytelling abilities and technical skills.

LL Cool J and Eminem recorded the track at Dr. Dre’s studio in Malibu. They didn’t record their verses together initially. LL Cool J would write and lay down his verse, then Eminem would come in, listen to it, and record his part. This back-and-forth process continued until the final stages.

For the last part of the recording, they came together in the studio to add the finishing touches, ensuring their verses meshed seamlessly.
