Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we'll take a look at this 12 inch Dexter oil bath trailer hub and drum assembly with the 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern, has the 9/16 diameter wheel studs and it's for a 5,200 pound to 7,000 pound Dexter axle. Now this trailer hub and drum assembly is what'll provide the surface area for your brake shoes to grip when your brakes are activated. It's compatible with both 12 inch electric or hydraulic drum brakes. It is a sturdy iron construction. Dimension on this, the diameter, inside to inside, is 12 inches.

The width on it right here is gonna be 2 inches wide. And again, the application, this is for 5,200 pound to 7,000 pound Dexter axles. Does have the bolt pattern of 8 on 6 1/2 inches that accepts the wheel size of 16 inch up to 17 1/2 inches. We mentioned the wheel stud diameter on this assembly is 9/16 of an inch, and the weight capacity is 3,500 pounds per assembly. So when this one's used with one on the other side of the axle, it'll meet up to the 7,000 pound axle rating.

Now this part does include the bearing races. They are already pre-installed in the hub from the factory. Now, the bearings, the seals, the caps, and all the lug nuts, they are not included. Those items we do sell separately on our website.
