Maxwell Silver Hammer - The Beatles (Guitar, Bass And Moog Cover) - Jazz Bass - Telecaster Rosewood

Описание к видео Maxwell Silver Hammer - The Beatles (Guitar, Bass And Moog Cover) - Jazz Bass - Telecaster Rosewood

Maxwell was recorded on July 9 and 11, 1969.
This song was the most hated by the Beatles except for Paul, mentioning that they spent a few horrible weeks recording that song.
That's why this song only features the participation of Paul, George and Ringo. although nobody really wanted to play it

In this song George was in charge of playing the acoustic guitar, the bass and one of the lead guitars with his Rosewood Telecaster. There are some sites that mention that George played with the Fender VI, although I consider the sound to be a little fatter, so I think it is the jazz bass that appears playing in the photos of the July 9 session. And unlike Paul, it seems that he plays with the bridge pickup and not with the neck pickup, which is why his sound is so nasal.

On the lead guitars I wanted to represent a little of what you see they are playing in the photos of the sessions and with what you hear on the isolated track. In this part it seems that they are playing the same thing but that is not the case, what they play is similar but in different inversions, Paul playing almost the complete chord with the bridge pickup, and George playing specific notes and hammer on's but on the neck pickup

I wanted to recreate this song once again for the 55th anniversary of the Abbey Road album. I would like to make more songs from this album, comment which one you would like to see soon.
