लोकसभा चुनाव के बीच प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को हुगली में एक जनसभा को संबोधित करने पहुंचे. यहां मदर्स डे के अवसर पर दो युवक ने पीएम मोदी और उनकी मां हीराबेन पटेल की साथ वाली तस्वीर उन्हें गिफ्ट की. ये दोनों युवक रैली के बीच में हाथ में तस्वीर लिए खड़े थे. जब पीएम मोदी की नजर इनपर पड़ी तो उन्होंने वहां खड़े एसपीजी कमांडो से उस तस्वीर को लाने के लिए कहा. पीएम मोदी ने उन दोनों युवकों से यह भी कहा कि आप उस तस्वीर के पीछे अपना पता लिख देना मैं आपको पत्र लिखूंगा.

Here, on the occasion of Mother's Day, two young men gifted her a picture of PM Modi and his mother Hiraben Patel together. These two youths were standing in the middle of the rally with photographs in their hands. When PM Modi's eyes fell on this, he asked the SPG commando standing there to bring that picture. PM Modi also told those two youths that you write your address on the back of that picture and I will write a letter to you.
