The audio was taken directly off of an FM radios unfiltered audio output. Quality only sucks because of youtube, make sure to use the highest playback quality. Even then keep in mind the audio sounds much MUCH better than what youtube shows.
The oscilloscope (top) clearly shows the hardware compressor/limiter/clipper in action.
The spectrograph (bottom) shows the L+R channel towards the left (expanded view), the 19kHz stereo pilot spike (used to turn on peoples Stereo light and decoding circuits in their radio), then the L-R stereo channel (ultrasonic) on the right. (L+R and L-R is used to recreate stereo Left and Right in your radios decoder)

This is a proof test to show that high frequencies don't intermodulate the low frequencies and vise-versa which is a huge problem with some older professionally built FM processors, and keep in mind this is homemade!
Also shows the low pass filtering above 15kHz as required by FM broadcast.

This processor took over a year to design but I am extremely happy with it. It's loosely based on the Orban 8000 still used in many FM radio stations. Ours being Pirate Radio couldn't afford a few thousand bucks, so I designed my own and not only think... but know it paid off and then some. There are now people requesting kits of this circuit which sometime soon I may put together.
