Audi A4 2.0 T Crank Pulley / Harmonic Balancer Replacement

No more chirping like a birdie :)

My A4 was squealing from a bad serpentine belt, post replacement I had a chirping noise coming from the harmonic balancer, after a quick test on the balancer I ordered a new one from FCP euro and replaced it without putting the Audi into service mode, only cut my knuckles twice during the process.

If you have chirping from your engine you can do the same test and confirm that the balancer is failing and replace.

Only a few special tools needed, M10 triple square and long 7MM allen key to remove the engine dampener.
