When I started performing solo and teaching myself to arrange songs for solo instrumental guitar, I began to appreciate more and more how complex and hypnotic Bob Marley's melodies are. Not only are they instantly memorable and catchy, but he has a way of taking the same melodic framework and re-imagining it in almost every verse, which makes the songs invaluable for studying both melody building and improvisational technique. This new Martin SC-13E is one of the most comfortable and easiest-to-play acoustic guitars I've ever felt, and when I was picking around on it the other day this song just started falling under my fingers.
