🧼 How to Tell If Your Soap Is Cured Properly ✨

You’ve made your soap, but how do you know it’s ready to use? Proper curing is key to ensuring your soap is both gentle and long-lasting. Here are a few simple tests to check:

🔹 Hardness – After 4-6 weeks, your soap should feel firm and solid to the touch. If it’s still soft or squishy, it needs more time to cure.
🔹 Color – The color of your soap should have lightened from when it was first made. If it’s still dark, it may need extra curing.
🔹 Feel – Run your finger over the surface. If it leaves a greasy residue or feels sticky, it’s not fully cured yet. Properly cured soap will feel smooth and dry.
🔹 Zap Test - Does it zap you when you lick it?

A properly cured soap will be gentle on your skin and last longer! 🧴💧
