Good afternoon Year 7. Today we are going to be looking at a poem that was written in the 1950s and has a very distinct message it wants to give us. Poems that aim to teach the reader something are called didactic poems. Over the course of the lesson we will be able to work out what the poem is trying to tell us. The task at the end is an analysis of a quotation from the poem. This is the part of the lesson I would like you to upload to Classcharts for me to look at.
