Benguerra Island is situated 14 kilometres off Mozambique, on the Eastern coast of Africa. Part of the Bazaruto Archipelago, the neighbouring National Marine Park is home to some of the richest and least explored subtropical ecosystems in the Indian Ocean.

Decisions have been made with care to protect the environment ensuring a light footprint on the natural landscape where possible. The vision is to blend rather than interrupt.

the property is run by a passionate team of 196 Kisawis, with approximately 90% of the operational team from Mozambique and the remainder of the team combining different expertise from around the world.
