DDR Party Collection - Ultimate12 Oni Course

Oh yeah, this series. Might as well upload more of my backlog, just like what I've done before with this series. Anyway, DDR Party Collection is a Japan-exclusive mix for the PS2, and features a lot of old classics along with a mashup of new pop songs, popular songs from the MAX era, and some brand new songs. Nearly every song in this small mix is a banger, so the lack of songs isn't that problematic.

Ultimate12 is a very fun Oni course. Nearly every song is a blast to play through and they're not too hard, either. Some of the songs are kinda tricky, like Witch Doctor, Rhythm and Police, and Orion.78, but overall they're not too challenging. The only song I don't like is End of Century. I think the chart is awful and the song itself just doesn't appeal to me. On the flipside, Paranoia Respect, the only boss song in this game, has a very tricky chart, but it's very rewarding to learn and master it's deceiving patterns. I also think it's one of the best-sounding Paranoia remixes.

I don't want to say the course is free, but I did actually complete this on my first attempt. I didn't record it since I wasn't expecting it, so I did another run. I don't remember my score on that old record, but I'm fairly certain this run went much better. I did get a couple misses, but there wasn't any point in the course where I felt in danger.
