Black Myth Wukong - XeSS test // Windows on Steam Deck LCD Gameplay

#steamdeckgameplay IT'S FINALLY HERE! How well does Black Myth Wukong run on a Steam Deck LCD, via a Windows 10 partition on the internal SSD?

In short: XeSS is probably the worst looking, but more in depth below!

The Good:
Visually it looks great on the small LCD screen, especially on low settings
The Steam Deck is the perfect device to get your fix of Wukong on the go
While the FPS was pretty bad at the start (all first runs of games are usually, I'm looking at you Fortnite!)
Temperatures are really good surprisingly, much better than the Legion Go
Completely playable

The Not so good:
Text can be a little bit difficult to read, but most games are like this on Handhelds without altering text size settings in general. No option to change the size in settings at all
Water/Mud looks woeful in areas, but on low I wouldn't expect too much
'Unpacking' on Steam required another 100+gb free (which is restored after), but on a handheld with limited space, this can be tough juggling installs
Ghosting is a big problem with frame generation, but can't really be helped
Probably the worst looking of the frame generation bunch

NOTES:
Being the first run, it's not going to look or run amazing until everything is cached, which can take a few runs of the game.
We used a Jsaux v2 backplate and cooler to help with temperatures
You'll likely see better performance than us as we're capturing the video externally
I've cut out long loading screens so the video flows better.

Key things we're looking at:
Running around slowly and quickly panning the camera angle
CPU/GPU load and temps in different scenarios
If there's night and day or weather scenarios - comparing performance in different light
Particles and effects when in combat, gliding/swinging or breaking things in game etc.

Running on a clean install of Windows 10, no debloating, no custom stuff - just a Windows 10 install on the SSD, the standard drivers supplied by Valve, Steam Deck tools and on AC power in this video.
