Confinement 29 - Pauillac de Latour 2015

Château Latour is situated in Pauillac, in the heart of the Médoc wine region, about 50km north-west of Bordeaux, where the legend of the vineyards of Bordeaux began.
The Pauillac de Château Latour is the 3rd label of the estate (after Les Forts de Latour, 2nd label) and is made primarily from young vines, growing on the less prestigious terroirs in the vineyard, and from wines that do not meet the selection criteria for Forts de Latour (specific to each vintage). This generous, fruity wine is an excellent introduction to the family of wines produced by Château Latour. It can be enjoyed after four to five years of ageing, and will continue to improve for several more years.

Blend of the 2015:
54% cabernet sauvignon
42% merlot
4% petit verdot

Tasting comment:
A beautifully intense crimson colour. The nose is fresh
and lavishly expressive of ripe fruit. Whilst retaining some
structure, the wine is smooth and gourmet in the mouth. The
finale is fresh and clean.
