So it was my first time in Malta and considering how small the place is, I didn't really know what to expect about the nightlife here! BUT it's quite safe to say that the party scene here is truly mind blowing!

Straight talk - After dark, the life in Malta has two sides:
First - relaxing away the evening just chilling & enjoying some food at main square and
Second - Partying! And if that's what you're looking for, St. Julian’s is where you should be headed at!

Paceville is a district in St Julian which is the main nightlife hub in Malta, being heavily populated with nightclubs, bars, strip clubs, pubs and restaurants. The street itself is a walking street. Metered taxis are easily available & will reach you right at the heart of this district!

The parties here are an all-week affair and they go on all year round in variety of venues, i.e. from large multi level clubs to smaller quieter bars. Plush, SoHo and Havana were the most happening ones based on my personal experience!

The streets are always lively and bustling with people! And With such a high density of party spots, you're really spoiled in terms of available options.

Actually, walking around here reminded me of the Reeperbahn, that's the night life party hub in Hamburg Germany. If you'd like to know more about that place then I'll link the video from my time there in a card at the end of this one. Check it out.

The party street forked at the end, with the rather empty one (on screen right now) leading to the beach while as the other continued to be full of people and so, I continued on this. It has a slew of pubs and restaurants. The famous Hard Rock Cafe is also here. The restaurants here have a great ambiance, and if you don't intend to have a conversation or mind the loud music while dining, these are some spots!

The street ends in a huge shopping mall and since I didn't have any shopping plans, I traced my path backwards.

Remember that street going towards the beach? Right! So, I took that and walked further. Crossed a huge Ferris wheel and found out that the beach area doubles up as a party place as well!

By the way, most of the Clubs have excellent house DJs who keep the crowd entertained all through the night. And Surprise! The admission is absolutely free in all these places! Erm, everywhere except on party boats though! I mean, being in Malta, a boat party is definitely an option but you got to book it in advance and these are also quite costly!

Staying in Paceville can be a good option if you plan to party the nights away. However, if you would like to rest after a night of partying, St. Julian’s also has districts that are quiet but at the same time allow you to be close to the party scene.

There are also many affordable adjoining eat out options in such areas, do try the delicious local cuisine loaded with sea food! Additionally, there areas also offer a lot of activities, both for individual and also as a family with kids, for example, there in the distance is a free children play area Irrespective of whether it's a quite relaxing evening you're seeking, or streets full of clubs with neon lights and heart thumping music - Malta got you covered!
